Why is this company in business? My company is a current customer but in the process of replacing them. We went through underwriting, were onboarded, but it became apparent that they were trying to sell our account to a different company, and we were ignored. They claimed we were onboarded improperly and they sought to sell us to a different funding platform. They wanted us to sign different contracts, all while assuring us that nothing would change. But, [Name Redacted], our account manager, never returned communications (emails, voicemails, etc.) and even the director, [Name Redacted], ignored our requests for communication. [Name Redacted] claimed that she would help us, but also failed to respond to inquiries. And yet they keep collecting fees. I wouldn’t be surprised if the company is a front for some fraudulent activity.

A completely crap service. I’ve had multiple issues with this company holding funds despite having set up high limits and notifying them we have a lot of keyed transactions. The claim they do 24 hour turn around on funds, but it’s a complete lie. After the account was active and we’d began using the service, they asked for additional documentation on our business and refused to deposit funds. Despite having ALREADY MADE deposits previously. They were dishonest from the get-go and I would not recommend them at all. As a small-business owner, they have taken away time and funds from the business as we have had to constantly contact them to find out where OUR money is. Save yourself a lot of hassle and USE SOMEONE ELSE!

I have paid more in fee than I have collected in sales, They are not small business friendly and its a $500 fee to leave early. I advise to look else ware. Over 400 in fees last year alone.

Terrible experience.! This company will not deposit funds that have already clear my clients credit card. Users beware if you are a small job to job company which relies on revenue from completed jobs to pay for the next. This is not the service for you. Merchant One says funds are available 24hrs later. It’s a lie you may never see your money. You will also get nickle and dimed with outrageous fees. BEWARE!!!

Hands down the worst experience I have had with a company. The hidden fee’s and below poor customer service have been beyond painful. I have used this company for about 2 years now and tried to cancel after 3 months because of the poor service and was contacted but customer support and given a bunch of discounts and had had the royal carpet unrolled for me. I decided to stay, and they asked me to consider changing my review to reflect a better experience. Here we are over a year later and I regret not leaving. There customer service is relentless when they need something from you and nonexistent when you need something from them. I had people calling me almost every day when I was returning my terminal to them. It got so bad that it felt like one of those extended warranty scammers. To put the cherry on top of this crap experience, the $100 annual charge was included in my last month’s service.Beautiful…

Hidden Fees, Cancellation Charges, Undocumented Account Withdrawals, Hiding Invoices, and added software charges are all part of the MerchantOne experience. This company relies on businesses unable to do math, or calculate what there fees actually are. After weeks spent setting up the account, buying additional plugins for my website, etc I finally began accepting transactions. My first bank debit seemed high. After being unable to locate any invoice on my portal, I called the company. After a lengthy call hearing excuses and claims a charge was wrong and a credit would ‘probably’ be forthcoming, I calculated my transaction charges were over 4% with all the attached ‘fees’. I requested where to go to cancel, and the rep sent me a cancellation form. Never were any cancellation fees mentioned. The form did state a maximum fee of $295 would be charged for ‘inconvenience’. Kind of ridiculous, since they did not deliver on original claims of cost and no trial period. However, I signed and returned cutting my losses. A few weeks later I found an $850 debit from them on my bank account. I would advise anyone moving away from this company immediately cut off any access they have to your banking. When I attempted to login and ‘find’ an invoice for this, my access was no longer valid. DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT. The company charges a $25 per month ‘inconvenience fee’ for remaining months if you terminate. Even if only after one month and their failure to provide services as sold. Unfortunately, my contract was three years. This was not communicated to me when I requested cancellation (although I doubt I would have changed my mind). Their advertised 1.9% processing fees turned into 4% plus an $850 cancellation fee after just one month of service. This does not include cost of plugins, etc to make their system work with your website.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! There are more trust worthy choices available.

I highly recommend to anyone not to do business with this company. They are not only very incompetent and they will lie to you just to get you to do business with them.
